Wow!!! What a whirlwind of a week!! First of all, I am so grateful to Katie & Travis, and Holly & J.Hyde and Miriam, Jacob, Livia, Joey, and Josh accompaning me to the Bates Reunion!! It was so good to see everyone and share lots of laughter and fun as a family- very short, sweet and to the point as my wonderful Father would always say! I'm sure he was amazed at all of the little ones running through the park and inside the church and so much talent all in one family!! I truly wish he and Mom could have been there to enjoy their posterity- but somehow I think they know how much they have been blessed . I know how blessed I am and all of my family to have such a wonderful posterity. We all have much to be grateful for- we have been given so much... Whoops.... here's a nice view for you- it's what I see when I look out of my dining room window!! Thanks for the beauty of this earth!

Yes, we have much to be thankful for. My heart and thoughts are turned to my grandparents tonight. I agree, grandma and grandpa Bates would have loved to see their posterity this past weekend. What an amazing group we have become!
I can't wait to be with them again.
